Designed and built in Toronto by Court Noxon for his company Metalsmiths.
Called the Gander chair as they were conceived for the Gander International Airport in Newfoundland.
Constructed of solid cold rolled steel frame and upholstered in black leather. Very substantial and heavy pieces, which is common with any of Court Noxon designs and builds.
Overall in good vintage condition. Frames are excellent on both chairs. Leather has some wear present on both consulate with age related wear and use. Cleaned and conditioned. 1 chair labeled.
