Exquisite example of an early California iron lounge chair designed by Dan Johnson for Selig in 1951.
Slim profile with stunning lines. The simplicity of the chair belies its charm and character.
In wonderful vintage condition. Was reupholstered at some point with the beautiful off white and brown houndstooth fabric which is in excellent condition. Steam moulded veneer arms are also in excellent condition. Cannot be sure if they are in original condition or were refinished at some point along the way. Regardless, they are tip top. All welds are strong. some very minor paint loss to the black painted iron frame consummate with age and use. See photos.
