All original example of a rare and obscure Benetton chair designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa in 1985 for the United Colors of Benetton for their headquarters.
Tubular steel frame with solid brass end caps and rich cognac leather seat and backrest.
Otherworldly patina on this piece. the frame can be polished if desired but I have elected to leave it as is. Leather is in overall great shape with some minor surface cracking and areas of wear throughout. Perfectly functional and the integrity of the seat and backrest are not in any way compromised by the condition of the leather. A few coats of leather conditioner have been applied to moisturize.
