Early 4 bay teak wall unit by Paul Cadovius for CADO, Denmark.
Consisting of 2 rails and 2 solid panels, 4 shelves (2 regular & 2 deep), 1 angled magazine shelf, 2 record storage boxes (great for large books as well), and 2 sofa sections.
The 2 sofa sections are exceedingly rare and I believe this is the only example available for sale on the Internet at this moment. I have included a photo from the installation instructions that was provided to me by a colleague as well as a print media photo where the sofa is shown, validating authenticity.
Designed to be installed on 16" on centre studs. Wall panels are 31.5" wide ensuring that when panels are placed side by side, they can be secured into the same stud.
Wall panels have been sanded and oiled. There is some sun fading present from original owners installation with exposure to direct sunlight. All components have been lightly sanded and oiled and are in overall very nice vintage condition with some pieces having minor wear to the corners. Cushions for the sofa sections are original and quite heavy. Minor wear to the fabric. See all photos.
