All original example of a Finn Juhl FD136 lounge chair for France & Son, Denmark.
Beautifully sculpted arms which is characteristic of Finn Juhl designs. This chair was designed to pack flat and therefor knocks apart, limiting the amount of glued joinery.
France & Son gold medallion present on the stretcher as well as the FD (France & Daverkosen) stamp on both side stretchers. Curiously has both present which may be that this example was produced during period where the company changed its name from FD to FS. Hand written pencil marks FD136 present in multiple areas.
Wonderful vintage condition with age appropriate wear and patina consummate with age and use. Old growth teak is beautifully rich.
